Boink Technologies, Inc. (hereinafter, “we”, “our” or “SLUSHY”) is committed to providing a safe and welcoming community. Our mission is to create an online, ecommerce, content discovery platform through which Creators can find, grow and monetize their respective niche audiences.
SLUSHY serves adults (18+) by offering a wide range of content for a variety of communities. Our commitment to Trust & Safety within our community is at the core of what we do. SLUSHY actively collaborates with our community and industry associates, the broader technology space, law enforcement and governmental agencies to enhance and promote Trust & Safety on the Platform and the broader online universe. As the Platform develops, we remain committed to promoting freedom of expression, creativity and inclusivity while simultaneously ensuring security, privacy and respect within the community by making continuous advancements in our Trust & Safety policies.
The SLUSHY Trust & Safety program includes a wide variety of policies, processes, activities, technologies and partnerships that work together to create a safe, secure and trustworthy online community. While elements of the program related to policy are outlined below, every SLUSHY community member is expected to read and agree to the full list of policies, responsibilities, consequences and terms of use set forth on our SLUSHY Policies Page, including, but not limited to, the Acceptable Use Policy, Compliance Levels & Permissions Chart, Terms of Use for All Users, Terms of Use for Creators and Terms of Use for Members.
All Content that is Published to the Platform must conform to the guidelines set forth herein and in our Acceptable Use Policy. Content that does not comply with or is found to be in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, the safeguards set forth herein or any other Content parameters set forth in another SLUSHY policy will be removed. Any Creator that Publishes, promotes or advertises and any other Member that promotes or advertises non-permitted, illegal or non-compliant Content will be suspended from using, accessing, uploading, distributing, publishing, or selling Content on the Platform and, depending on the severity, frequency and/or quantity of Content violations, may be permanently banned from the Platform. SLUSHY will also report any illegal Content and the Creator and/or distributor of such illegal Content to the proper governmental authorities. SLUSHY utilizes the methods set forth herein, among others, to monitor all Content, to detect non-permitted or illegal Content and to protect all Users of the Platform. Creators can Publish, share or sell legal, permitted Content on the Platform while retaining full ownership of their intellectual property.
We moderate the Platform in accordance with our Content Moderation Policy to ensure that all Content Published to the Platform is permitted Content. Under no circumstances does SLUSHY tolerate or permit Published Content that promotes or facilitates human trafficking, sex trafficking or physical abuse and actively participates in organizations dedicated to preventing the upload and distribution of such Content on the Internet. In addition to the content guidelines set by such anti-human trafficking and anti-child exploitation organizations, and the policies and procedures set forth in the Content Moderation Policy. SLUSHY identifies non-permitted Content via several channels, including:
While technology assists us in identifying potential Content violations, all decisions to remove flagged Content are made by skilled human analysts only after manually reviewing the Content. We believe that technology plays an important role in establishing safe Content, but that technology cannot replace the nuanced decision-making abilities of our trained SLUSHY team members.
